Access to the Port of Piraeus

Faros 2 Hotel is located close to the Port of Piraeus and offers easy access to the departure gates for passenger ferries.

The exact distance depends on your departure gate, as the Port of Piraeus covers a large area. Some gates are within walking distance, while a taxi is recommended for the more distant gates, particularly when travelling with luggage.

Very Close to Gate E9

The hotel is approximately a five-minute walk from Gate E9.

Gate E9 and the neighbouring gates are frequently used for routes to the Western Cyclades, including Kythnos, Serifos, Sifnos and Milos. Faros 2 Hotel is therefore particularly convenient for travellers departing for these destinations.

Departure gates may change depending on the ferry and route. For this reason, we recommend that passengers always check the gate indicated on their ticket.

An Ideal Choice for Cruise Passengers

Faros 2 Hotel is also a convenient choice for guests departing on a cruise from Piraeus or arriving in the city after completing their cruise.

The cruise terminals are relatively close to the hotel. However, due to the distance and the difficulty of carrying luggage, we do not recommend walking.

By taxi, the journey usually takes approximately 5–10 minutes, depending on traffic and the cruise ship’s departure terminal. The estimated fare is approximately €10–€15.

Access by Metro

Dimotiko Theatro Metro station is approximately a 10–15-minute walk from the hotel.

Metro Line 3 provides convenient access to the centre of Athens and many of the city’s main areas and attractions.

Metro Line 3 also connects Athens International Airport with Piraeus station. From there, you can continue to the hotel by taxi or other local transport.

Access from the Airport by Bus

The X96 bus service connects Athens International Airport with Piraeus and operates 24 hours a day.

The NAT bus stop is approximately a 10–15-minute walk from Faros 2 Hotel and provides a convenient option for reaching the hotel.

The total journey time from the airport to Piraeus is usually approximately 90 minutes, although it may vary depending on traffic conditions.

Taxi Transfers

For greater comfort, we can help you arrange a taxi transfer to or from:
